I was at my local Waterstones on Saturday for the launch of Nottingham Peacebuilders’ anthology, ‘Small Acts of Kindness’.
Combining a wide variety of poetry and flash fiction, this collection, inspired by the words of Gandhi, King and Ikeda, is part of an ever-growing community project promoting peace through the arts.
There have been art installations and music events and Saturday’s sold-out launch featured a great live band alongside many warm and impassioned readings.
I feel very lucky to have my flash, ‘Dragon’, included in such a diverse and positive anthology. And the celebrations continue at Five Leaves Bookshop on December 11th.
